Connell and Eric hope for a winning card at the September 2 Bingo benefitting the Highlands Historical Society In August, we partnered with the Highlands Playhouse. Dwight Bryant, a Highlands Playhouse board member,   awards the Super Bingo winner while Rotary President Elect Bill Futral looks on. In May we partnered with the Cashiers-Highlands Humane Society. President Paul Schmitt and his son, along  with Buddy the dog and humane society executive director Cassie Welsh were part of the large crowd. The winner of the final Super Bingo game.
Cassie Welsh, a member of the Rotary Club of Cashiers Valley, with President-Elect Jodie Cook and his wife Caroline. A fun night raised over $1400 for our local humane society. We partnered with The Literacy Council of Highlands to sponsor Bingo in March, 2010. Friends and spouses helped out with refreshments for the big crowd. The Calloways enjoy Bingo & support The Literacy Council. The winner of the Super Bongo game in March, 2010.
In December, our club partnered with local police to sponsor SHOP WITH A COP, and donated net proceeds of over $4,000 to this wonderful program. October's Bingo was a partnership with the Highlands Cub Scout Pack. We had a big crowd and donated net proceeds of over $1100 to our local Cub Scouts. Former Rotary President Brian McClellan called the Bingo games for our Cub Scout Bingo in October. Two young ladies won the final October SUPER BINGO game and are shown the money by Rotarian Bill Nellis. We partnered with Highlands Playhouse for the August 2009 Bingo, with all proceeds benefitting the Playhouse. Jim, Jodie & Cassie at our Our May 2009 Bingo night raised over $1000 for the Cashiers-Highlands Humane Society. Bill Nellis, his rescue dog Buddy, Cassie Welsh (Director of the Humane Society and a Rotarian from the Cashiers club),  Caroline Cook and Taylor Schmitt were part of the fun.
Biological Station students take time off from studing to try their luck at Bingo. The October 2008 SUPER BINGO winner was Tamara Bronaugh, wife of Rotary member Tay Bronaugh.
President Derek Taylor presents the $250 to Tamara and her children. Winners from September 4 Rotary members and the public are welcome for family fun on Bingo nights.
